Dr. Monica Tetzlaff succeeded Dr. Les Lamon to become the second Director of the Civil Rights Heritage Center. David Healey (third from the left), Center historian, wrote a paper on converting the Natatorium into a home for the Center. The two continued to unite students, faculty, and community members behind transforming this once segregated swimming pool into a place of hope.
