An irregular publication of the IU South Bend Women’s Studies Program, City Sisters had the stated goal of putting the program “in contact with women’s issues both here and around the world.” It also, of course, promoted Women’s Studies events and classes, which were often open to the general public. Note the planned 1980 visit by Alice Walker on Lincoln’s Birthday, quite the guest speaker for Kaufman’s course B250 Interdisciplinary Analysis of Women’s Role.
