Poster announcing auditions for the inaugural Dance Program at Indiana University South Bend (IUSB) in 1992.
The first dance program at the university was co-directed by the wife-and-husband team of Gayle McKinney Griffith and Donald Griffith. Prior to coming to IUSB, they founded the Fountainhead Tanz Theatre and Dance Company in Berlin, Germany in 1980.
Auditions for the first dance troupe at IUSB took place on September 19 and 20, and the inaugural dance performance at IUSB was held on Saturday, November 14, 1992.
