THE FANTASY GAME
a party game for feminists
or
an exercise to develop fantasy-power for everyday survival

Fantasy imparts POWER, if you use it rightly. So when your boss complains about your wearing a pantsuit , IMAGINE his modeling a frilly Parisian dress at a posh fashion show for the whole office staff .

When an offensive male has battered down a whole group of people by sheer noise, IMAGINE him wrecked on a desert island with one other person--Bella Abzug.

But don't abandon Bella there for long! IMAGINE her as third woman president of the United States.

When Joseph Califano places another obstacle between poor women and opportunities for abortion, IMAGINE him pregnant by an insane rapist. His request for abortion is denied because ______ (supply YOUR reason), or because only poor people may have abortions.

When you're in Church listening to all the talk of Father, Son, and Brotherly love, IMAGINE a papal encyclical that reads: "Spirituality is independent of genitalia."

IMAGINE --going to the library and not finding a single book on the history of man.
--attorney Phyllis Schlafly defending a man for wifebeating--before an all-feminist jury and before a woman feminist judge,
--the Ms. Orange Juice Contest of 1980: Rita Mae Brown is elected Queen and crowned by Anita Bryant with a genuine sisterly kiss.
--Jimmy Carter extending the freedom of expression he allows to Andy Young also to Patricia Harris and Midge Costanza.
--housewives paid what their labor merits.
--physicians more worried about malpractice than about malpractice insurance.
--corporation presidents donating one-third of their annual salaries to finance our 2,000-acre feminist cultural center and retreat •.•
and GO ON IMAGINING! (GK)
