The Loving Brotherhood was a New Age "pen-pal" service connecting gay men to each other from across the United States. Led by Ralph Walker, it espoused New Age spiritual ideals of self-help and self-idealizing. Niles, Michigan resident Herman Lawson used the service to connect with other gay men.
